HoYeon

South Korean model-turned-actor Hoyeon received global recognition and praise after the global achievement of the Netflix original show, Squid Game, in which she performed the role of Kan Sae-byeok. She was often referred to as Player 067. In recognition of her performance that made headlines on the show Hoyeon took home the Screen Actors Guild award for the best performance by a female actor in an Drama Series and earned a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress on the Drama Series. She is from Myeonmok-dong located in the suburbs of Seoul, Hoyeon began her professional career as a model on a contract basis during the 2011 Seoul Fashion Week. The Korean version of Next Top Model was her fourth season and she finished as the runner-up. In 2016, she received her biggest international breakthrough when she landed an exclusive deal with Louis Vuitton. She has appeared in numerous campaigns since then . She has also was on the runway for numerous designers, such as Fendi and Marc Jacobs.
