Amanda Brugel

Tessa Tessa Amanda AmandaPointe Claire is a sleepy community on that part of the island in Montreal named"the West Island. This is also known as the West Island, which is frequently described as an independent "island" to the west of Montreal for those unfamiliar with it, actually encompasses everything to the to the west of Lachine. Amanda Brugel is said to have been born on the West island, though her stay was short. Brugel began her life in Courtice just outside Oshawa. The first goal she had was to dance, but her growing years meant that she outgrew her dance partner. In an article in The Toronto Star she admitted, "In heels I'm 6' 1 inch. When I grew out of the male dancers I was working with, I quit. The former dancers usually turn to acting, and in Bruce's case, it was the guidance of an instructor in drama at her high school that brought her to take the step she needed. Her teacher urged her to audition for a part in the school's production. The teacher advised her to take on a part in the annual school production. It was her turn to be given the role of Anne of Green Gables. Her Fine Arts Talent Award at York University led her to the Theatre Program where she graduated in 2000, with a bachelor's fine arts degree.
